Our History
The saguaros have gotten quite a bit taller since we first opened shop in Tucson, AZ over 60 years ago (Saguaro cactus grow about 1 inch per year). Back in 1955, Tom Addis (a sign painter by trade) decided to break out on his own and start Addis Sign Company.
Over the years our name merged with what we do (to become Addisigns) but we still hold to Tom’s history of building quality signs that stand the test of time. You can still see many of Tom’s original sign designs, from back in the age when everything was drawn/ produced by hand, dotting the Arizona landscape.
Since 1955, Addisigns has been an industry leader in the wide world of outdoor advertising while still paying tribute to our local roots. We pride ourselves on being one of the best and longest running, locally owned sign companies in Arizona and are proud to call Tucson our home.
